Itinerary:

Ho Chi Minh – Buon Me Thuot – Don Village – Kon Tum – Hoi An – Ho Chi Minh

Duration: 7days/6nights

Day 1: Arrival in Ho Chi Minh

Upon arrival in Tan Son Nhat, Ho Chi Minh city, a modern seaport and the country's largest city. While many locals still call the city Saigon. You will be met by our trip leader who will be with you through your stay. Then transfer to down town for check-in to hotel. After that we embark on an included city tour, which brings us to the Catholic Cathedral of Notre Dame, was completed in 1880 and is said to stand on the site of an old pagoda. We also see the architecture of the majestic Post Office, built during the same time, the City Hall and Opera house. Later, transfer to local restaurant where we enjoy a welcome dinner this evening.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh - Buon Me Thuot

After breakfast, we begin traveling toward Buon Ma Thuot, the capital of Dak Lak province where is the home of 44 ethnic minorities via Ho Chi Minh Trail at Daksong junction and the Draysap Waterfall. The Ho Chi Minh Trail was a network of roads built from North Vietnam to South Vietnam through the neighboring countries of Laos and Cambodia, to provide logistical support to the Vietcong and the North Vietnamese Army during the Vietnam War. Upon arrival in Buon Me Thuot, check into hotel and leisure. We tonight have dinner at local restaurant and enjoy the ethnic folk music performance.

Day 3: Buon Me Thuot – Don village

After breakfast at hotel, we depart for Don village, where is very famous for elephant taming. Explore the traditional wild elephants catching and taming of M’nong ethnic group. Visit the ancient wooden house- on- stilts with the architecture belongs to Laotian. We also visit the tomb of the King of elephant catchers before take a walk through suspension bamboo bridge. In here, we’ll ride elephant for 1 hour. Elephant seems to be a member of family of ethnic groups. We tonight have dinner at local house in Don village where we spend the night.

Day 4: Buon Me Thuot – Kon Tum

After breakfast, we depart for Kontum, the lovely town in the central highland where the Bahnar, Jarai, Rengao and Sedeng ethnic groups inhabited with visits to Bahnar and Jarai villages en route, stop at the sacred Cemetery of “Ede” Tribe and the lake in Pleiku. When we arrive in Kontum, start our included tour to visit the wooden Church and catholic monastery. Afterwards, drive to check into hotel and free at leisure. We enjoy dinner at local restaurant.

Day 5: Kon Tum – Hoi An

Early morning we depart to Hoi An along Ho Chi Minh trail. Enjoy the spectacular sight on the way. Upon arrival in Hoi An, check into hotel and leisure. Rest of the day is free for you to explore the Ancient town of Hoi An. Dinner tonight is on your own.

Day 6: Hoi An- Danang – Ho Chi Minh

After breakfast at hotel, we take a walking tour of the ancient quarter and see its historic streets and mossy houses such as Phuc Kien Congressional House and Japanese Bridge, historic houses with brick exteriors and wooden interiors... Then transfer to Danang airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh city. Upon arrival in Tan Son Nhat airport, pick up and transfer to hotel. Dinner tonight is on your own.

Day 7: Ho Chi Minh departure

After breakfast, you will be free for shopping until the transfer time to the airport for flight back to your country.
