The Ho Chi Minh MausoleumThe Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is the place where Ho Chi Minh's embalmed body lies. Ho Chi Minh wished himself to be cremated, but after his death the body was preserved and between 1973 and 1975 the Vietnamese built the mausoleum. The building is located in the district of Ba Dinh in Hanoi and is open to visitors. Taking pictures is not permitted and no objects are allowed to bring in there. On weekends it can often be long queues to enter the mausoleum. In The area you also find the famous One Pillar Pagoda and beautiful parks. Located right next to Ho Chi Minh's home in a beautiful park. Here you can see how he lived. Next to his house there is a pond full of goldfish and carp. You may feed them from a bridge.
